Several of these photos are blurry, but they are genuine and not staged, so I just had to share so the grandparents can see how sweet John is to Mary!
John has a Marian statue in his room and now Mary will have one (Our Lady of Fatima) too.
We like these knotted rosaries for little children because they are nearly indestructible and can't release chokeable beads onto the floor if broken. However, they are certainly more pricey: our nearby monastery sells them for $7, in contrast to a few cents for the cheapest plastic kind for children.
God Bless, Mary! Can't believe she's past a year already. Thanks for the tip on the knotted rosary. I've only seen wood bead rosaries for children and they make me nervous since several have had recalls due to lead.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'm sorry I haven't answered your email yet! We were out of town for a while and it's been very busy around here. It's one of my goals for today.
