Does anyone know, after the two weeks we're supposed to let these germinate in wet paper towels, can we plant them in little paper cups of soil in the house? It's only December, so we have quite a few months before they could be transplanted outside. Would they last inside that long?
I don't know for certain, but I think you could do that and put them in a clear plastic storage container in a window or on your patio. Just be sure to bring them in during the cold. I have seen my husband do this with rooting plants.
ReplyDeleteYes but... a paper cup will probab-ly be too small (peat pot'd be transplantable if they get too big before planting time) & clear plas-tic'd have to be opened for ventil-ation, especially in high light).
