Mary turns one years old today! She weighs about 24 pounds and won't sit still long enough for me to take a pretty birthday picture!
I hate to be morbid in a birthday posting, but this morning we were almost T-boned by a distracted driver running his red light, and on Mary's side of the van no less. It was a narrow miss. It certainly has me thinking on our precious daughter's first birthday that we not know the day nor the hour (Matthew 25:13) and we should treasure all the time God gives us with our little ones, these little souls which he entrusts to our safekeeping.
