John's 6th Birthday Celebration

On Sunday after Mass, we celebrated John's birthday (a bit early) by going to brunch at his favorite breakfast restaurant. Very easy for this pregnant mama!

Store-bought ice cream cake = satisfied kiddo customers!

Mary wasn't grasping the concept that the candles were for the birthday boy, but John didn't seem to mind.

Mary made for her brother sacrifice beads -- something John had been asking me for for weeks -- so it was a really sweet gift.

Riding his new bike -- the hidden birthday gift he had accidentally stumbled upon the day prior! Oh well!

Twenty months old and ever-closer to being a big sister!
