This week, I reorganized the school room in an effort to bring everyone back under my mother's eye. I seem to recall that I do this cyclically, maybe every other year, I bring everyone back into one room to school where I can supervise them all, then later I feel too crowded, so I take us back to schooling around the home where people can have space from each other. Back and forth I go!
I made a little video if any readers are interested.

Joseph (a month shy of five) has blossomed in the last couple of months and is suddenly starting to read, write, and play piano. I like to watch for that readiness and then start feeding it. Joseph is soaking up some teaching from Mama during the nine o'clock hours most days. He feels like a big boy! (One of my readers recently requested a read-aloud list for five-year-old boys, so I'm working on that to share.)
Mary teaching Joseph how to read
The play area, made smaller . . . so maybe it will allow for less mess?

Mama's computer and the school computer
We have a place for lounging and a place for jumping: we have it all!
