We made it home on Thursday through rain most of the way. It wasn't our worst drive ever, but the many stops were pretty tiring.
Thankfully, we had cute vignettes to watch, such as two brothers sleeping, leaning in toward each other.
And now we begin our transition to a summer schedule--yeah, I know, it's a couple months early but we're going to make the beautiful spring months of North Carolina our 'summer,' then start back to school in earnest in the suffocating, purgatorial heat of July. On our upcoming agenda is participating in a community Shakespeare play, homeschool kickball, the Children's Latin choir, continued swim and piano lessons, growing our vegetable garden, plus some summer school endeavors, such as learning cursive and maybe a study of the fifty states . . .
