Wednesday, Day #67 Phase I of Reopening
We request continued prayers for my husband's mother D. She is recovering, now in a long-term, acute care facility, from COVID-19 and hasn't been home in seven weeks.
The braces were delayed repeatedly for random reasons and then she was due to get them on about two days after the coronavirus lockdown began: so disappointing! She was so excited finally to be getting them on.
However, I've been informed, "I will have them on for a couple of years. I'm sure you'll get a chance to take a picture sometime!"
Bonus Reading for Posterity:
- I'm really trying to read the research about the efficacy of wearing masks. Today I began looking into N95 masks. I'm very confused because the FDA and CDC say that N95 masks block particles 0.3 microns and larger, but all the scientists say that coronavirus particles range from 0.06 to 0.14 microns. This one article explains that N95 masks do capture most viruses much smaller than 0.3 microns and it does cite academic sources. (Can Masks Capture Coronavirus Particles?)
