Growing Up Girl

As long as Mary (now five) has been praying the rosary with us, she has mispronounced "hail." She says "Hail-y Mary" and "Holy Mary."

Until this week.

Now our sweet girl is saying it properly. As (mildly) annoyed as I was night in and night out at her mispronunciation, now I am feeling poignant about our girl growing up.

Speaking of the Rosary, Mary wrote out an illuminated manuscript of the Hail Mary in her free time last week. This one's a keeper!
