Bonus reading: This is one of the most compelling and interesting articles I've read about a parent's unexpected embrace of a child with Down Syndrome. The author-mother describes her own "trip to Holland" as compared with Andrew Solomon's recent book examining parenthood. This article is fascinating and beautiful to me precisely because the reader can see God's natural law glimmering in flashes through the two voices in the article (Cristina Nehring and Andrew Solomon) who are not typically pro-life or pro-life at all. I highly recommend reading these two pages.
