Mary Draws

Mary has become quite the little artist. She has been drawing stick figures for a few months now, and includes details such as eyes, mouth, ears, cheeks, and hair. Above is a Little Girl she drew on our white board, with hair (sides and top) and that U-shaped loop around the figure is her dress.

She's also moving into drawing sad faces: this morning one of a series of sad faces was "Jesus when he was dying" and included a downdrawn mouth and tears around his eyes.

  2. Sarah: Never fear! It is the white board and it's the proper kind of pen, so all is well. I have the permanent Sharpies in a new hiding place that is working . . . for now!
