Death

John knows that death is a prerequisite to getting into heaven.

Yesterday during the family Rosary, he was asking us what an 'enemy' is and we got around to talking about an enemy trying to separate one from God, to harm one's soul.

Confused about something he must have (mis)heard at some point, John asked, "Like the bishop is an enemy?"

Daddy and I cried out simultaneously, "No!" Then Chris explained, "Honey, the bishop is trying to get you to heaven."

John asked wide-eyed, "The bishop is trying make me die?!"

More explanation ensued.
