One Week Old

Happy One-Week Birthday, Margaret Anne!


Just two days ago (March 25) was Margaret's patron saint day: the day we celebrate the martyrdom of St. Margaret Clitherow. The other Margaret who is very special to me is Bl. Margaret of Castello (memorial April 13). I was calling on both saints to be with me through active labor and that was very comforting to me.

    She is beautiful. I have enjoyed seeing the photos of all three of your children. Sounds like you did a good job of getting John and Mary ready to greet their little sister. Could they be any prouder?
