I did some planting around our Virgin Mary statue on Friday.
John enjoyed digging in some old potting soil I dumped out while Mary did surprisingly well being pushed around in a stroller by Grandmom.
Our yard is almost entirely shaded and color spots for shade are rare. We moved two pots sitting empty by our front door to either side of the statue and filled them with pink
caladiums and
impatiens.
I planted two
coleus in an ox blood color and two in a yellow color.
