Happy Birthday Grandmom
Today is John's Grandmom's birthday. And while we are talking about birthdays, here is a picture of Grandmom holding John on the morning after his birthday. Unfortunately we will not be in town to celebrate with her.

Ohhh John looks so cute!!! I don't think I remember pics of him when he was born! He just looks like a miniature version of the current John!

ReplyDeleteThat was sweet! I'm amazed that little John's face is smaller than my hand. It's so easy to forget how tiny newborns are....I have never forgotten, however, the incredible blessing and joy a child as well as a grandchild brings to an entire family!
The echo of your empty home yesterday, brought a tear as I fully realized your move to Charlotte....but the fact that you now will be able to spend more time with your family, made it sweet. You, Katherine and John will always be close to my heart. Love, Mom
