Baptism of John Francis

Today we had John Francis baptized at our traditional Latin Mass Catholic parish.

The Traditional Rite of Baptism is very beautiful. In this picture the priest is anointing John with blessed salt.

Here is the part were the priest pours Holy Water over the head of John Francis while claiming the words, "John Francis, I Baptize you in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. [or in Latin: John Francis, ego te baptizo in nomine Patris et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti."]

John's godparents Scott and Loretta, Mom, Dad, and his paternal grandparents Dottie and Keith.
