Birthdays on Memory Lane

Looking back on all of Thomas's birthdays has extra meaning this year!

Newborn

I look at these newborn photos with astonishment and wonder at both God's ways and biological workings because we now know that Thomas already had neuroblastoma cancer cells in his belly even then, and they lay in quiescence for nearly five years before starting to rapidly grow. One thinks one knows what reality is, but, as St. Paul reminds me, for now we see through a glass darkly (1 Cor. 13;12).
