Five Days Postpartum: Wednesday

Having had appointments on Monday and Tuesday and facing appointments on Thursday and Friday, I used Wednesday to lay in bed almost all day. It was gratifying to watch my big ol' fat swollen feet become skinny again.

I hung out with this cutie . . .




Big brother Thomas (24 months) came by to compare toes . . .



Perhaps most precious exclamation by an older sibling heard this week so far . . . "Just wait till we see David's reaction to the first time he gets to hear Mama reading aloud at bedtime!" MELT MY HEART!!!

    He is absolutely adorable, and looks so much like your other children. Have you talked about who he most resembles? I also love that there is anticipation of David joining in the read aloud time. The children must surely treasure it.

    Praying that you can get some blissful, restorative naps here and there. :)
