Bye-Bye for Now!

Today we said goodbye-for-now to our beloved babysitter Miss R----- who has been with me, except for one break, for nearly five years.

I gave her a little tea party send-off and the children made her cards, declaring her "the best babysitter in the world!"

I'm not sure if the three-year-old really understands that she is moving away and won't be here next week for her regular two afternoons. He asks me most days of the week, "Is Miss R----- coming today?"

Miss R----- has such a heart of service, shares our Catholic faith and so helps catechize the children, and takes them all over the neighborhood for walks and adventures.  For three babies now, she has been the only person I've trusted to watch my babies, besides their own daddy, until my little guys were probably nearly three years old.

We will miss you, Miss R-----! We hope to see you again soon!
