Tonight our family had the privilege of attending a very special event: the first annual Oncology Clinic Talent Showcase! Children who have survived cancer or are in active treatment submitted art in various media or performed songs, which was very moving. We were grateful to socialize with other cancer families, given that our entire journey occurred during Isolating and Crazy Times. Thomas's art sketch, entitled "God in the PICU," is based on a photo of when a priest came to give him Extreme Unction (last rites) in the PICU, except that he drew the priest as Jesus ministering to unconscious Thomas.

"God in the PICU" made me burst into tears. So beautiful. And Thomas is so beautiful, he looks so healthy. I heard about Thomas's cancer through a prayer request just after his big surgery and prayed and followed along all through that long stay. I am just so grateful that he seems to be doing so well!
