Donation of Arts and Crafts to Kids at Levine's

September 2: Thank you again to our donors! Our children Margaret and Joseph recently organized a charity car wash and received $300 from generous donors in our neighborhood. By taking advantage of a deep Labor Day sale, we purchased 83 arts-and-crafts kits for children inpatient at Levine Children's Hospital. While shopping in the aisles, I was moved to tears remembering the seemingly interminable 132 days Thomas was inpatient and how delighted we were when a Child Life Specialist would give him art, crafts, or toys because it (1) made him feel loved and (2) helped him pass the time. Now 83 suffering children will receive such gifts!
