Thomas is all set for his 18-month cancer scans tomorrow (Thursday) and we appreciate any prayers! Today I took him to the Nuke Med department at the hospital for his MIBG injection (a nuclearpharmaceutical used in imaging). He was patient while two nurses of twenty years’ experience each could not place an IV and he was cheerful while waiting 2.5 hours for the IV Team to show up. They placed the IV in two shakes of a lamb’s tail! He loved chatting up all the staff and asked questions about the mechanism of a spring loaded device, so the nurse showed it to him, saying no kid has ever asked that before. We love our boy!
