Happy 4th Birthday, Thomas!

Thomas turned four years old on Friday! Happy birthday, Thomas Vincent!

Thomas was my last baby born in a planned home birth . . .

The day he was born

Dear Thomas has always been a sturdy tank of a little boy, walking early, climbing trees by two years old, and riding his two-wheeler like a BMX biker by 3-1/2.

First birthday
By Thomas' second birthday, he looks exactly like he still does today! That is pretty much this little fella's perpetual smile.

Three photos from turning three . . .

Thomas is such a joy and I think our most perpetually cheerful child. His current favorite activities are building with Duplos or Legos or wooden blocks, singing and narrating (so loudly!) to himself for an hour or two during Quiet Time, and dressing up (lately, mostly as a cowboy).

We celebrated his birthday on the evening prior with dinner, gifts, and a cake.

Big Brother John made a fabulous card out of Legos that spelled out "Happy 4th Bday."

Thomas sporting his new cowboy dress-up clothing! With a pistol that shoots real snap-cap things loudly!

The reason we celebrated early is that our family gift to Thomas and David (turning two next month) jointly is a Friday trip to Tweetsie Railroad: a Wild West train-themed amusement park! A blog post report is to come . . .
