I enjoyed a sweet celebration of my birthday on Friday. A lovely friend of mine baked me a batch of chocolate chip pumpkin muffins and another one sent me flowers! I couldn't believe the sweetness!
My in laws came for a weekend visit and we ordered delicious take-out and opened gifts.

We all agreed that we liked the actual cake but did not care for the frosting. It was pretty anyway!
