Finally, it snowed! Charlotte got about two inches of the white stuff, starting last night, so the children woke up to a winter wonderland.

After breakfast, the children dug through our bag of snow clothing to see what fit whom.

Despite how much I love going out into the wet snow when it's about 15 degrees, somebody had to volunteer to stay inside to prepare hot cocoa with homemade whipped cream. So, I let Chris take the children outdoors. I'm magnanimous that way.

We also made maple snow candy!
We had some snow days recently too...Always so much fun. Alice even got into it.
