For your reading pleasure, a little story as written by Mary (4-1/2) tonight. Thankfully, I once very much enjoyed a university course on the development of the world's languages throughout human history, so I was able to crack the code of this four-year-old learning to encode her phonics.

The mouse [?] hid in the computer.
Adorable! I tried deciphering without your translation, and got as far as "mouse." I thought she was writing a story about something that happened at Mass!
