Today in our math lesson, John learned how to make a chart using tally marks to quantify something. We decided to quantify how many children our various friends have. I picked six family names I could think of quickly and had to laugh at the results of counting their children, above. John remarked that we and two of our friends have the "smallest" families because we have only four children.
