Last week, I was saying something (who can remember what?) about my three children. John piped up, "And then you'll have a fourth baby."
"Really? What made you say that?"
"I just think you're going to have a fourth baby soon."
"Well, that would be wonderful."
John didn't know at the time that his hope was, in fact, already true!
Chris and I are overjoyed that God has blessed us again with a little one! The changes in the baby's hand and foot development this week are astonishing: click here for fetal photos.
We told the kids this morning and they were very happy, with Mary in particular leaping for joy.
This wee one should arrive in time for my birthday in February!
I bet John is rooting for a brother! Congratulations!
ReplyDelete:-D congrats!
ReplyDeleteYay yay yay!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! Congrats.
ReplyDeleteI'm beginning to think children may have a sense for these things. John's comment. Mary's drawing of your family of six. And several weeks before we found out I was pregnant, Emma kept telling me I was going to have a third baby.
How are you feeling???
I think you said something in the last week or two that made me wonder---maybe it was just about being tired! LOL!.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I'm so happy for you.
How wonderful! My Margaret is a February baby and it is such a nice month to celebrate a birthday!!!!
ReplyDeleteMany congrats!
(We're still praying for a nice big break in the biological baby department in Kromville!)
Congrats to your family!! I had been thinking the same thing, that maybe you were. And then John and Mary being so perceptive.
ReplyDeleteYay! Congratulations! I thought the same thing about Mary's drawing of a family of six--was she on to something?! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of February babies as well, my Samuel being one. Congrats to you all!
Congratulations Katherine and Chris! So happy for you!
ReplyDeleteFour! Well, that's one way to live your life. Can you build me one of those wood fireplaces??
ReplyDelete;)
Congratulations Katherine! My twins have a February birthday as well. I'm still waiting for the news of a #4 but it looks like it won't be this month.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Katherine! My twins have a February birthday as well. I'm still hoping for #4 but it hasn't happened yet.
ReplyDeleteYIPPEE!!!!! I hope you are feeling well and that all goes smoothly.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Katherine!!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a girl I read the book, The Trapp Family Singers. In it Maria describes her sharing the news with the older children that she was expecting a baby as a moment when heaven touched earth.
I always thought of that when we told our children of a new sibling, and those moments stand out in my mind as absolutely joyful.
It sounds like this morning heaven touched earth in your home, and the children joyfully expressed for the first time their love of a new brother or sister. So happy for you!!!
Congratulations!!! We are thrilled for your family!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I was wondering which of us would be next since our six are all so close in age. My third "baby" is just about 20 months now, and no return of fertility yet for me. While I admit to feeling a little impatient, I am also glad for a sightly bigger space between the kiddos. Prayers for a healthy, energy-filled pregnancy!
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!! How very exciting!!!
