Sunday Sweeties
Our three sweeties on our way to Mass
Recently John has been making mostly crosses with his Duplo blocks and today, when I checked on his progress cleaning up the bonus room, I discovered he had made an "altar" with nine crosses. When I walked in, he was singing his own made-up song about Jesus in the style of Gregorian chant, but I couldn't get him to sing it for me on video.

how does Mary do with her veil?
ReplyDeletebeautiful. Is that Mary's headcovering? I had to laugh today, Rosalie wanted to use my crocheted dress shawl as a mantilla... :)
ReplyDeleteYes, that is a head covering that my friend Elaine sewed for Mary last Christmas, when M. was just over a year. I carry it with me in my chapel veil purse and Mary still treats it as fun dress up. She wears it occasionally during Mass for short periods because she likes looking like Mommy, but she fidgets too much to keep it on.
ReplyDeleteI sewed her a matching kerchief for her new dress (which she was wearing). Interestingly, when she saw it, she began shrieking that NO, SHE WANTED HER WHITE ONE. Suddenly she showed much more attachment to her white handkerchief even than normal, which is why she wore it that day.
She calls it her "chief." ;P
love, love, love the lego altar!
