I finished sewing Margaret's Easter dress within the Easter octave, so that counts as being on time! The project took me about three weeks and I often had to sew a couple of seams at a time before the newborn would start shrieking or the big kids needed attention and I'd have to close up the project again. It was slow going! However, this was the first dress on which I got to use the new serger and that was amazing to work with!
Do you think she knows how sweet she looks?
"Kids, would you please sit down nicely for an Easter photo?"
Not a happy baby (and Mary was off scene having a snit)
A mother will have her nice Easter photo of the kids, even if it is a week late! (And even if there are bird droppings on the bench right behind the kids' heads. Perhaps Daddy can do some Photoshop magic with that!)
After Mass, we joined friends of ours for a lovely brunch that we had intended and cancelled last Sunday because we were sick. 
Great job and beautiful pictures! The dress is amazing. And look at the smile on Margaret!!! I love it!
