McDowell Park with Margaret

At two and a half weeks old, Margaret seems to be having two quiet, wakeful periods per day, one in the morning and one in the evening.

Today I took the kids on a little adventure to McDowell Park, a management feat I wouldn't have tried at two and a half weeks postpartum without having brought along the kids' beloved babysitter.

Mary is continually taking off her shoes, anywhere and everywhere.

After dinner, I took Mary for a special Mommy and Daughters outing to the ice cream parlor.
I have had warm, fuzzy feelings lately when doing laundry: When I fold laundry, I place it in one pile per person . . . and now I have five piles!

  3. I love how the tiniest person's laundry pile is the biggest. :)

  4. How did the mother/daughters outing with Mary go? Did it help?

The children are adorable! And gotta love those crocs as far as ease of use for Mama is. Margaret is quite alert and beautiful. Give her a big squeeze and kiss for me. :)

I, too, liked the bit about the laundry. Awww...

  6. Ladies: Yes, I do think the ice cream outing helped! Also, I took her to lunch on Saturday. I'm so pathetic, wooing my sweet girl back!

Anyway, she's now doing stuff like crying for ME to kiss her ouchies instead of Daddy, and crawling into my lap, and she even cried, "I want my mommy!" when I went to Mass without her this evening. :D
