Paper plates during the end of pregnancy: great idea from my mother-in-law!

I noticed that when my in laws were here, the kids spent at least four hours a day playing outdoors in the sunshine. It's so good for them to have those kind of days! So, this morning before my in laws returned home, we dashed out to Garden Ridge where I bought a reclining chair and ottoman so that I can essentially lie down while I'm supervising the children in the back yard. I can last a lot longer lying down than sitting upright (the latter of which puts all the same pressures on me as does standing). Garden Ridge has great prices and this chair set, which seems to be of good quality, cost half of the cheapest similar product at Lowe's.

  1. Hmmmm.....my husband has been talking about purchasing this very chair for exactly the same reason as you for the latter part of my pregnancy. Of course by then, the mosquitoes will be ravenous and plentiful and the temperature will be upwards of 90 - 100 degrees every day. But, maybe one of those misting fans would help keep me cool. I am sure that soon DH will be up in Atlanta where they have a Garden Ridge. He'd go to great lengths if the deal is that good.

Enjoy your mild weather and recliner!

  3. That position is SCARY to a person like myself with a history of posterior babies! The first thing I thought was "ack!" Thankfully you don't share that issue ;)
