Bread by John

I have trouble getting things done because my three-year-old wants constant interaction. It was my friend Sarah who, some months ago, suggested that when I'm baking bread I give John some dough to knead. I've been doing that and it works to keep him involved, and not getting into mischief. But it was only this last time that it occurred to me to actually bake his little ball of dough. What fun! John's loaf was not much bigger than his fist.

He loved it warm from the oven with melted butter!
