Who's The Boss?

A few days ago, John turned to me and said, "Daddy works for HP. Who do you work for?"

I was so startled! I paused and replied, "I work for my family: for Daddy and you kids."

John seemed to accept the answer, so then I asked him, "Who do you work for?"

He answered, "I work for HP and for my family!" Now I am wondering at what age it will occur to John that I don't get up and go to a job the way that Daddy does. The fact that Daddy works from home will probably delay John's understanding on this.
