Today I reluctantly let Mary try coloring with washable markers, after she raged at me for about five minutes because John was getting to do coloring and cutting. But Mary still eats the crayons unceasingly if she gets to "color" with them, making it tedious for me to let her because I have to sit right there the whole time. I tried letting her use markers this time because she can't eat them, but she did end up with red color all over her face.
After the project, the kids played a very cute game of peek-a-boo under the table. It started because John refused to help me clean up and I'm very tired of his having the privilege of doing two or three crafts a day and I am the only one with the responsibility of cleaning them up. Today I didn't let John leave the table until he would pick up his paper scraps, so in the ten minutes it took him to decide to cooperate he and Mary played a very cute game of peek-a-boo.
LOL...Emma will STILL use markers as lipstick on occasion!
