When sickness changed our plans, the kids and I were unable to go to Boston and Chris was unable to come home for the weekend in between two business trips. So, Chris got to stick to our plans to meet my friend Rebecca and her family. Read Rebecca's blog for a description of their lovely time and fun photos!
Sickness update: I think we might be coming down with a new cold. By Sunday afternoon the kids and I all had runny noses and I had a headache; this morning both kids are sneezing. The children and I have been serially sick with only a matter of days between illnesses since we got what I believe was the flu in mid-December (when Grampa Neil was visiting). It's like our immune systems were greatly weakened and simply can't fight off anything! I'm no scientist, but I don't know what else to think two months into illnesses. I hope I'm wrong about these nascent sniffles!
An old timey suggestion.....the first remotely spring-like, sunny day that y'all can get outside for a couple of hours, open up your house (top and bottom) and let the fresh air blow through it.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get to feeling better soon. You deserve a long, long period of good health.
The modern version of Ashley's advice is to find some liquid vitamin D or Cod Liver Oil at your health food store. Posthaste.
ReplyDeleteThis has been a tough year for illnesses. I swear, we're NEVER sick, but this year, we've had a stomach flu and a couple colds.
ReplyDeleteHope you're able to get well SOON!!!!
Wow. Rebecca is so blessed to have such a gorgeous church nearby. Feeling quite jealous of that! And the abbey grounds and everything, wow.
