This is a recreation (see Daddy's hand) of how I found Mary, having climbed halfway up the gate that was keeping her in the den. It is difficult to see, but on the other side of the gate are two stair steps down into the lowered den, so if Mary had fallen backwards, it would have been a bit of a tumble! Good thing she is brave and resilient!

Another Climbing Feat
This is a recreation (see Daddy's hand) of how I found Mary, having climbed halfway up the gate that was keeping her in the den. It is difficult to see, but on the other side of the gate are two stair steps down into the lowered den, so if Mary had fallen backwards, it would have been a bit of a tumble! Good thing she is brave and resilient!
