Today John requested the camera, then proceeded to take 70 shots with careful attention and calm manner. Often he'd say to himself, "Wow, that was a great picture," but sometimes he'd say, "Oh, that one was a mistake." It was remarkable to watch him at work, as he's normally a typical almost-three-year-old boy pinging and zinging all over the place. Below are some of his photographs I most enjoyed. There were others that had wonderful composition but weren't in focus.
Oh I love the one of his mama reading her book under a tree with the beautiful fall leaves in the background!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice...might have a budding photographer on your hands here! Emma likes taking pix too, and she loves having her own (kid-proof) camera.
ReplyDelete(I guess the "kid-proof" camera would go against your Montessori teachings, but I like it because I don't have to worry about her sneaking off with my expensive camera).
They're really quite nice.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the fall foliage in your pics of late is the only difference, but I have been enjoying all of the photos lately. Did you get a new camera maybe?
