Squirrel Identification Complex?

We have an insane squirrel eating our house! We've caught the little bugger in the act and I had to go outside and yell at him before he would go away. Does this squirrel have a self-identification complex? Does he think he is a beaver? And how do we get rid of him?

  1. It's possible he's chewing to get in because he feels the warm air from inside the attic. Let's hope he doesn't get in. We spent mega bucks getting squirrels out of our attic.

  2. I know it's late posting on this; I just got my computer back last week and have missed your blog! They make these fake owls (or perhaps other predatory birds?) that you can mount on top of your home to discourage rodents and other destructive beasties. That might work. They might carry them at your local hardware store, or perhaps you could find them online.
