Fingerpainting

John is highly averse to mess on his hands (but, interestingly, hyposensitive about mess on his face), so today I bought him finger paints to help desensitize him.


He was one excited boy.

I was pleased to see that he would put his hands in the paint.

But my little odd duck asked for a wet wash cloth, then proceeded to declare, "This is a mess!" Each time he painted a smear, he declared it a mess and wiped the paper clean. But he had fun!
