More of Our Hawk Friend

Our hawk friend visited again and Chris took better photos. After we posted earlier photos, people thought it might be a red-tailed hawk, a red-shouldered hawk, or a Cooper's hawk.

  1. The coloring and tail shape don't seem to match up with what I've seen in Cooper's hawks, but the size seems awfully small for a red-tailed. Perhaps it's a juvenile?

I'm thinking he's probably attracted to your bird feeder (namely, the birds at the bird feeder), which is why he's hanging around so often.
