Charlotte had another snow day this week, getting as much as ten inches in some places. (And apparently some hundred thousand people here were without power for a day or two while the temperatures were hitting lows in the low teens.)
Chris took John out sledding, which won him Daddy of the Day award because there was no way Mama was going out in that cold and wet.
I think you captured a southern snow perfectly with the snow-topped flower (hyacinth?). Most of the snowstorms of my youth occurred after the bulb flowers had come up early from premature warmth. It sure makes for a pretty picture!
ReplyDeleteSeems like you have the best of both worlds down there - nice weather, but your children will also never be able to say they never had snow! Up here, we're totally snowed in on a regular basis during the winter months. Winter seems to last forever!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures!
