John has succumbed to a cold and I think Mary is fast following him. Poor John has been whiny all day and complaining of the "crumbs" in his nose. Moments before this video was shot, both children were wailing inconsolably as I went through all the steps to soothe them. It was such a hopeless moment (hopeless that I could get them both to stop crying at once) that I rather cheerfully got out my video camera to document it all--something I never envisioned myself doing! As it was, John stopped wailing when I began filming, but you get a tiny glimpse of the fun times:
Aww, that's terrible. I hope everyone feels better soon! Leo's had a runny nose for about 3 weeks now!
ReplyDeleteI hope they feel better soon. It is so hard when the baby is sick (for her and you) but adding the toddler in the mix makes it harder. They both want exactly the same thing at exactly the same time all from you. Hang in there.
ReplyDeleteTeresa has a cold now, too - it came on yesterday evening, poor thing. Seeing her suffer makes me grateful for things I took for granted, like the ability to blow my nose and clear my throat. I hope all our babies feel better ASAP!
ReplyDeleteSo how are the kids doing? Are they feeling any better?
ReplyDeleteRebecca: Thanks for asking. Tuesday was much better! Maybe John kicked the cold faster. Chris and I thought we were down for the count, but we feel better today too.
