Nativity Set
We set up our Fontanini nativity set on the fireplace mantle. My Aunt Erica collected this set piece by piece over the years, choosing it because the indestructible pieces could be played with by her own son. Now her son is in college, so she gave us the whole set last year. John loves playing with the pieces, as can be seen here on the kitchen floor. And he's learning about Baby Jesus at the same time!

ReplyDeleteMy paternal Grandmother collects nativity sets, so she has many, and I remember really enjoying playing with the "kid friendly" ones she has when I was young. Seeing John like that brought back some neat memories.
