John is slowly warming up to Mary.

This photo allows some sibling comparison. Now I see why some people have said Mary and John look alike!

John was finally willing to hold Mary. And, look! Mary is smiling! She has been smiling since about a week old and I, for one, tend to think these things are real, not gas.

Note how John decides he is
done holding Mary.
These are great! I think she is making a Chris expression in the picture 2nd from the top.
ReplyDeleteShe is looking so alert! I love how she is trying to sell herself to John by being all squeaky and cute. "Don't you want to hold me, aren't I just adorable??" ;)
i must say that it drives me crazy when people say "it's just gas" when they smile! a mother knows when her baby gives a smile!
ReplyDeleteI love john's beautiful smiling face as he looks down at his baby sister. what a beautiful shot!
Reminds me of how Christina lovingly held Agnes for a few moments and would then push her away when she was done. lol
ReplyDeleteof course it is a real smile. didn't they disprove that gas theory recently?
Sarah: You heard that the gas theory was disproven?! I'd love to hear more about that.
ReplyDeleteSO sweet!
