Mama looks goofy, but isn't our sweet big boy cute? Later when Chris' mom arrived a few hours after the birth, she asked John if he wanted to kiss the baby. He stood back, wide-eyed. But he then got his pink, stuffed elephant because elephant wanted to kiss the baby. Baby steps!
Many Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful new baby girl! My favorite picture is where Mary Genevieve is looking right into Chris' eyes. It is plain she is already "Daddy's Little Girl"

Congratulations! I was pretty sure the birth would come quickly when you shared that she had lightened (as usually happens with subsequent pregnancies). I am also not surprised that she is a she! Hooray for baby girls! I look forward to hearing your birth story. In the meantime, enjoy little Mary and get what rest you can!
