We are thrilled to announce the birth of our daughter, Mary Genevieve (the gender had been a surprise). She was born in a planned home birth on Wednesday, November 12, 2008, at 12:40 p.m. (noon). She weighed 8 lbs 9 oz and was 21" long (two pounds and two inches bigger than older brother John at his birth!).
Mother and baby are happy, healthy, and beautiful. Please keep us in your prayers.
Glory to God in the Highest!
Many Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful new baby girl! My favorite picture is where Mary Genevieve is looking right into Chris' eyes. It is plain she is already "Daddy's Little Girl"

as and aside - she was born on my Sophia's b-day. ;)
Congratulations! I was pretty sure the birth would come quickly when you shared that she had lightened (as usually happens with subsequent pregnancies). I am also not surprised that she is a she! Hooray for baby girls! I look forward to hearing your birth story. In the meantime, enjoy little Mary and get what rest you can!
