Addendum to Yesterday

Yes, I think John understands. This morning John and I were in the master bathroom and it was nearing time for his first morning nap. Once again, I was standing behind him when I said, "Let's go lay down together!" Without looking back, John toddled straight to his napping mat and lay down with a big smile. He was still wearing his nighttime pajamas, so my putting him into pajamas couldn't have been a cue to him, like last night. Fun, fun!

    That's exciting! I think babies really comprehend a lot more and sooner than we realize. It just takes them a little beyond that to understand what the appropriate response is.
