Growing Strong

Here is a picture of John Francis who is about 31 weeks old this week. The picture was taken on the same yellow polka-dot blanket, and I scaled the images so that the blue dots were the same size in order to show the proportional growth.

I am very thankful to my beautiful wife for all her dedication to John's health and well being. At 31 weeks (7 1/2 months) John has yet to have his first taste of baby formula. While we have tried to feed him some solids, so far he has rejected them all. All this growth is 100 percent from natural breast milk. It is also important to note that John hasn't had any allergies, diaper rashes, or significant illnesses. He has only had two minor head colds both caught during exposure to other children at photography studios. Both colds were minimized and rapidly overcome through the medicinal properties of breast milk.

All I have to say to the naysayers is... count the dots.

  2. Isn't it amazing! No allergies, no colds/illness, no diaper rashes (none, at least until the hot weather started) here either!

  3. John is a doll, and you are right about the benefits of breastmilk. Aren't you just the sweetest husband ever to appreciate your wife so much and to say so! You have a lovely family. God bless.
