Bananas and Mexican Rice

Status: John is still a major fussbudget. Tooth has not broken through yet. John has no patience because of the pain, so if a toy so much as touches him "wrong," he bursts into wailing tears. This leads to General Mama Weariness.

John enjoyed some success with bananas at lunch today. I think he got a few in there and really seemed to be chewing. He did not shudder or retch. This photo shows how he uses his thumb to shove the food in his mouth.

You can still see John's bruise on the middle of his forehead.

At dinner at a Mexican restaurant, John went crazy for the rice. I really think he was swallowing some, although I could not judge by the amount of rice that disappeared from his plate because he scattered the little rice grains far and wide across the table. Poor waiter.
