Weekly School Preparations

Saturday morning

Awake at 5:00

Baked muffins for breakfast

Drinking coffee while doing weekly school wrap-up (from last week) and planning (for next week)

Each child has an assigned seat at the table. I’ve had to be increasingly organized and strict in hopes of anything getting done. Each week, I mark off in the Elementary school binders what assignments each boy completed. I can know at any given time just how many weeks and months we are behind schedule!

I print out a blank planning form for the three Elementary boys and will fill it in with planned assignments. “The best laid plans of mice and men . . .”

I consult the syllabus for every class of the top three kids and fill out the lesson planners one week at a time.

The little boys earn one M&M per subject completed.
