Friends,
We invite you to pray this novena to St. Beckett (Weinert)—or any prayers at all!—that Thomas’s trip to see a specialist at Boston Children’s Hospital be a blessing to his future health and growth. At first when I found out that his appointment would be May 11, I knew immediately that that was the first anniversary of the death of little Beckett. His family attends the same Latin Mass at our same tiny parish and always sat just a few pews ahead of us. He died in the same PICU and with the same dear nurses and doctors who had been able to save Thomas only a few months prior. I was worried that Thomas’s much anticipated trip would steal attention from Beckett on that day until I realized that, OF COURSE, we could beg Beckett to intercede for his little friend Thomas. How PERFECT that Beckett can be doing heavenly work on his anniversary. It is a perfect date. Thank you for any prayers—including for the comfort of his grieving family. They can be full of faith but still feel terrible pain piercing their souls.

Novena to Saint Beckett
Glorious Saint Beckett, you served God with such innocence, and submission to God’s Holy Will in your short time here on earth. Now you enjoy His beatific vision in Heaven. You persevered until death and have gained the crown of eternal life.
Please intercede and help me live with the same fervor to always do God’s Holy Will and be an example to others of God’s mercy and love.
I implore you to obtain for me, through your powerful intercession, the greatest of all blessings, that of living and dying in the state of grace. I also beg of you to secure for me the special favor I ask in this novena. In asking this favor, I am fully resigned to the Divine Will. I pray and desire only to obtain that which is most conducive to the greater glory of God and the greater good of my soul.
*Here mention your request*
